Day 1: Minangkabau Airport – Bukittinggi and Explore Historical and Natural Attractions – Padang

This 4 Days 3 Nights Mentawai Tour Package adventure begins with your arrival at Minangkabau International Airport, where our team will welcome and transfer you to Bukittinggi. The first destination to visit is Anai Valley Waterfall, a majestic waterfall by the roadside that has a beautiful atmosphere and suitable for relaxing from the journey.

The journey continues to Panorama Park with stunning views over the Sianok Cayon, a deep green gorge surrounded by mountains that seem to enclose the area. Later, we will explore Japanese Tunnel, a historical site in the form of a Japanese-made tunnel that bears witness to the history of the colonial period.

The first day will conclude with a visit to Bukittinggi’s iconic Gadang Clock Tower. This clock tower stands majestically in the centre of the city and is the perfect place to take pictures. After a day of enjoying nature and culture, we will return to Padang city & head to the hotel to check-in and rest.

Day 2: Heading to Mentawai and Beach Exploration in Tua Pejat

The second day of Mentawai holiday package begins with a trip to Muaro Padang jetty at around 6am. From here, we will board the Mentawai Fast Ferry for a three-hour sea journey to Tua Pejat, the capital of the Mentawai Islands. Upon arrival in Tua Pejat, we’ll check into our hotel and begin our journey of exploration.

To begin, we’ll take you on a Walking Tour around Tua Pejat, where you’ll get a first-hand look into the lives of the local people and get to know the Mentawai culture. Afterwards, we head to Jati Beach and Kima Park. Here, you can rest on the deserted white sandy beach, swim, or simply enjoy the view while sipping young coconut water. The sunset in Mentawai is a beautiful moment, creating a romantic and calming atmosphere to end the day.

Day 3: Exploring the Beautiful Islands Around Mentawai

The third day is filled with island hopping activities or exploring the small islands around Tua Pejat. After breakfast, we will start by visiting Kelapa Tiga Island. The island is surrounded by clear blue ocean and has unspoilt mangrove forests. There is a Mangrove Park where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and take pictures with the lush mangrove trees in the background.

Besides taking pictures, you can also enjoy snorkelling at some safe spots to see the beautiful underwater life. After enjoying this activity, we will return to Tua Pejat and prepare to return to Padang by Mentawai Fast Ferry.

Upon arrival in Padang, our team will take you to your hotel for check-in and rest.

Day 4: Explore Padang City – Departure

The last day of this 4 Days 3 Nights Mentawai Tribe Tour Package begins with breakfast and check-out from the hotel. The city tour in Padang includes some iconic locations such as the Old Town which is rich in colonial heritage buildings. Here, you can feel the atmosphere of the past with Dutch-style architecture.

Next, we will visit Mudik Market, a great place to find typical Padang souvenirs and unique handicrafts from West Sumatra. From Mudik Market, the journey continues to Kampung Cina which has a Chinese atmosphere with typical architecture buildings, creating a unique and different atmosphere from other parts of Padang.

Afterwards, we will head to Muaro and Siti Nurbaya Bridge, a Padang icon that connects Muaro with the area around Gunung Padang. This bridge has a very beautiful view, especially during sunset. Before the journey ends, we will stop by Padang Beach, the perfect place to relax for a while and breathe in the fresh coastal air.

After travelling around Padang, we will transfer you to Minangkabau International Airport for your flight back to your hometown.
